2.7m silk/merino shawl with silk/corriedale thick handdyed inlays and short raw fringe. Woven on a Sea Island Cotton warp, which is one of the longest-staple, luxouriusly soft cottons that the world has to offer. The silk/merino used in this weft is incredibly soft and smooth, and would make a lovely wrap for cooler summer nights, as well as a cosy shawl for cold winter days. So, anywhere you are in the world, and whatever season you are in, you are in luck!
 
Final fibre content is as follows:
50% Sea Island Cotton
25% Mulberry silk
25% Merino wool
 
It features a pooling weft in the colours of the warp, browns, golden bronze and mossy green. It’s so much fun watching the the pooling move across the warp width, highlighting the weave of different sections.
 
While this was woven as shawl, it is sett at a density suitable for babywearing.
